Harley-Davidson Softail description

Just in time for the Harley 110th anniversary party  I am selling a beautiful 2003 Harley Davidson Springer Softail model FXSTI. It has a low 10818 miles on it. The bike was bought new by my dad and when he upgraded, I bought it from him. Now that I am upgrading, I to have to sell the bike. It is a 100th anniversary model and has all the correct 100th badging. It is a 1450cc fuel injected engine and it has a stage two injection upgrade. The tank was personally signed by Willie G at a show a few years back. it is a bit faded but still there. Has a custom black and grey ostrich seat with gel insert and matching backrest. The backrest is also the correct 100th aniversary piece. It has a removeable smoked windshield and the center bar mount and windshield mounted leather bag are 100th pieces also. the windshield itself has some scratches and scuffs but can be easily replaced without losing the 100th anniversary center bar. There is no rust and no damage on the bike, the paint is nice. No chips or missing paint. It has a TON of extra chrome, aftermarket grips and pedals, rear luggage rack. New rear pads and fluids changed this spring. It will need a front tire probably next season. the only flaw on the bike is one of the front chrome fender struts got lost so I had a set of black ones made up. I will include the one chrome one and mounting bolt I have if you want to go back to the chrome. Pipes have been reworked so bike has a pretty good rumble to it. I had leather bags on it at one point and there are some scuffs on the rear black painted frame where they rubbed a little. Everything works great, no leaks and besides a tire soon, will need nothing. Also included  I have some of the stock pieces if you want them as well. may have a few odds and ends to go with it also. Please ask me questions before you bid, this is a binding sale and the bike is sold as is, There is no warranty on it as this is a private sale. a $500 non-refundable deposit is due at auctions end via paypal and payment will be due on pickup or within 7 days whichever is first.   thanks for looking and good luck!

The California Air Resource Board has issued executive orders on a number of 2014 Harley-Davidson models, revealing much of the Motor Company’s upcoming product lineup. While most of the models listed are familiar, the documents do reveal some gems including possible signs of the long-rumored new liquid-cooled Harley-Davidson engine. The first and least surprising reveal is the disappearance of the 1584cc Twin Cam 96 engine.
