Harley-Davidson Softail description
This bike started out as a 2002 Harley Davidson Heritage and over the years I have changed its look. The original color was "real teal" but being a daily rider it eventually needed a facelift. It now has the Heritage rear fender with a Fatboy tank and front fender. The stock handlebars have been changed to beach bars and I have removed the rear luggage rack, passenger seat and pegs. It's not that I don't like my gal, but I don't take her to work with me. What I am most proud of is the bikes mechanical condition. Although it is stock, it has been my primary mode of transportation and I have maintained it as if it were new. The oil has been changed more frequently than the suggested intervals and it lives on nothing but premium fuel. It starts up quickly, rides smoothly and everything functions as it should. The bike does have some scratches, one noticeable dent and other minor flaws but shows no signs of abuse and doesn't leave puddles when I park it. I have included many photos with different lighting shades to give you an idea of its condition. The bike will be sold with one of two seats; the studded solo or the Harley Badlander, your choice. If you have any questions, PLEASE ask before bidding! Thank you for viewing this auction.

2013 Harley-Davidson Breakout Unveiled at Daytona Bike Week
Fri, 08 Mar 2013In a rare move, Harley-Davidson has unveiled a base version of its Breakout months after first launching the exclusive Custom Vehicle Operations version. Presented at the 2013 Daytona Bike Week, the 2013 Harley-Davidson Breakout offers a similar low and muscular profile as the CVO version but at prices starting at $17,899 compared to the premium model’s $26,999 price point.
