VERY CLEAN AND A RARE FIND FOR A 1992 HERITAGE. THE MOTOR RUNS GREAT AND TRANSMISSION SHIFTS GOOD. THE BIKE LOOKS VERY ORIGINAL WITH SOME NICE AFTERMARKET PIPES AND SOME CHROME ACCESSORIES. THERE ARE A COUPLE CHIPS IN THE PAINT, BUT VERY MINOR, (SHOWN IN PICS). THIS BIKE IS IN ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION FOR THE YEAR. THE BIKE WAS TRADED IN ON A NEW HARLEY. IT HAS A NEW REAR TIRE AND THE FRONT TIRE IS GOOD. THE BIKE DOES HAVE OIL LEAK AT BASE OF CYLINDER WHICH IS VERY COMMON . Bonhams To Sell Garelli Grand Prix Collection At No Reserve
Wed, 28 Nov 2012Mark your calendars for February 5 and 6, 2013, as those are the dates when Bonhams — one of the world’s largest auctioneers of fine arts and antiques — will put for sale two motorcycle collections which include some incredibly rare and historic machines. The Grand Palais in Paris, France will play host to the auction, which includes the entire Garelli Grand Prix collection as its headliner. Founded in 1919, many famous Italian racers got their starts on Garelli motorcycles.
Harley-Davidson Closing Australian Cast Wheel Subsidiary
Thu, 08 Dec 2011Harley-Davidson is closing its cast wheel and hub producing subsidiary New Castalloy, deciding to outsource production to third-party suppliers. Based in Adelaide, Australia, New Castalloy produces about 1,450 wheels and 500 wheel hubs per day for Harley-Davidson. That work will be transferred to outside suppliers by the middle of 2013.
