Hello, My name is Sean Lumsden - Cook. This is my first of many ebay auctions to follow. Recently, Video and Media Services has teamed up with several knowledgeable motorcycle collectors to start offering their "special collections". I personally am not an expert on vehicle, rather I am a camera man with a passion for presenting unique and sometimes rare opportunities through the visual arts and internet. Appropriately, the first item for sale is the pictured 1941 Harley Davidson FIRST YEAR FL with paint to match sidecar from the Samuel L. Peters Collection. Mr. Peters has owned this Harley Knucklehead for almost 2 decades and is only one of many prized vintage,authentic Harleys. I am told the "set-up" is correct, matching numbers and ready for a new home, whether it be a museum or the open road. Harley-Davidson Hires ex-GM Engineer Federico
Thu, 08 May 2014Harley-Davidson has hired a former General Motors engineer and executive, most recently recognized for leading the automaker’s internal investigation of its ignition switch fiasco that resulted in a recall of 2.6 million vehicles. Jim Federico retired from GM on May 5 after working in various roles with the company over nearly four decades, most recently as executive director of global vehicle integration. Federico will join Harley-Davidson on June 2 as vice president of engineering.
Harley-Davidson to compete in Hill Climb
Wed, 24 Jan 2018For the first time in the history of the World Extreme Games, in addition to skiers, snowboarders and other extreme winter sports, Harley-Davidson motorcycle riders will also start competing. The new Harley-Davidson Snow Hill Climb medal discipline will be introduced during the final days of the games, which will take place from January 25 to 28, 2018. Athletes will climb on motorcycles on the slope of the SuperPipe track.
