A very rare light blue color and very low mileage on 2008 HARLEY-DAVIDSON ULTRA CLASSIC ELECTRA GLIDE - FLHTCU with 9,012 actual miles. Bike has always been stored in garage. Harley Davidson cover, drivers back rest and suitcase included. Also has a new 400 CCA battery installed 2 weeks ago. Bike has a 6 speed transmission, cruise control, stereo, seat speakers, plugin for helmets on gas tank, 4 blue LED lights with on/off switch to highlight the motor and is a very clean bike.

The feeling rings true today as it did 72 years ago, when Wallace Van Sandt, of Birmingham, Alabama, took delivery of his 1941 Harley-Davidson WLD Special Sport Solo, purchased new in 1940 for $365 (roughly $5800 in today’s money) by his father as a high school graduation gift. The WLD Special Sport Solo was a ringer in its day.

No, you didn’t read that headline wrong. Harley-Davidson will reveal its Street line of motorcycles to the US market at the X Games today with an ice racing exhibition. While exciting, the winter X Games have clearly been lacking one thing – motorcycles – and the Motor Company has joined with ESPN to bring ice racing to mainstream audiences. What could be a better way to introduce the Street 750 to a young, adventure sports-focused market to the Harley line designed by and for them?

The guy behind this twin-engined pulsejet motorcycle, Robert 'Bob' Maddox, fascinates me. He's a cabinet maker by trade but is somewhat an expert in the field of pulsejet engineering and has built a whole host of machines powered by the ever so subtle jet engine. This latest bike is dubbed a Harley-Davidson Sportjet, although it has nothing to do with Milwaukee and I'm not sure why H-D made it onto the tank...
