And it is—a full 100cc bigger. That’s right. For the first time ever, and only for a short while, we’re offering a stock motorcycle with a 1550cc, 95 cubic inch engine. All this added power comes compliments of a Screamin’ Eagle Big Bore kit. Get behind the controls of this up-sized engine with super-smooth EFI and you’ll see it fits right in with the rest of the machine’s girth. Huge forks. Giant floorboards. Mammoth light and nacelle. The tank cloisonné is plated in 24k gold. The oil tank gets color treatment to match the engine. It’s easy to see there’s a whole lot to love about this Fat Boy. But get in the new Badlander-inspired seat, set the chrome disc wheels in motion, and you instantly realize life can’t be lived any larger. Choose it in silver or black. But don’t dawdle. Terminator 2 Harley-Davidson Is Coming Home
Tue, 04 Feb 2014If you thought Arnold Schwarzenegger’s greatest role was in Terminator, then you should make your way to Milwaukee: The Harley-Davidson Museum has acquired one of the few surviving 1990 Harley-Davidson FatBoy motorcycles used in the filming of Terminator 2: Judgement Day. At the time of filming, the FatBoy was one of Harley-Davidson’s newest models, and the one now in the Museum’s permanent collection was ridden by Arnold Schwarzenegger in the 1991 action classic. “Terminator 2 is an iconic film and a celebrated piece of pop culture history,” said Jim Fricke, Curatorial director of the Harley-Davidson Museum.
2012 Harley-Davidson Dyna Switchback Revealed
Thu, 21 Jul 2011Harley-Davidson has revealed a new member to its Dyna family featuring quick change convertibility from touring to cruiser mode. As we expected, the new Harley-Davidson Dyna Switchback features hard saddlebags and fork-mounted windshield that can be removed quickly and without tools, allowing it to change from a touring motorcycle to a cruiser, and back again. The Dyna Switchback uses Harley-Davidson’s Twin Cam 103 engine, 2-into-1 chrome exhaust, and five-spoke cast aluminum wheels with full fenders.
