PURCHASED NEW FROM MOBILE BAY HD IN MOBILE, ALABAMA, IN APRIL OF 2003. GARAGE KEPT, LIKE NEW CONDITION. 3,158 MILES. BIKE JUST HAD IT'S 2,500 MILE CHECK-UP (AT 3,150 MILES) AT LOCAL HARLEY DEALER. BATTERY ONLY 6 MONTHS OLD & WIRED FOR EXTERNAL CHARGING HOOK-UP. I REPLACED THE ORIGINAL HD SHORT, FAT HEADLIGHT WITH A NANZ BULLIT LIGHT. I ALSO MOVED THE HANDLE-BAR MOUNTED TURN SIGNALS TO THE FORKS OPPOSITE THE HEADLIGHT, AND CHANGED THE MUSHY HD GRIPS. DEALER INSTALLED NEW AT TIME OF PURCHASE BALONEY-CUT SCREAMIN' EAGLE PIPES, CHROME PEGS FRONT AND REAR, AND CHROME SWITCH COVERS. I CHANGED THE DERBY COVER. Fri, 23 Aug 2013With the return of football season upon us (that’s American football for our international readers), we thought it best to feature, what else, but a motorcycle. In this particular case, it’s a Seattle Seahawks-themed custom based on a 2005 Harley-Davidson Road King, the same year the Hawks made it to the Super Bowl. The man behind the custom, award-winning bike builder and Seattle resident, Keith Wong, was approached by Patrick ‘PT’ Town, the founder and executive director of Union Ride & Charity Rally - a charity event to raise money for several non-profits including Northwest Harvest, A.N.E.W., Helmets to Hardhats and the Awareness, Education and Prevention of Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) in Youth Football.

Tue, 06 Sep 2011Chris Fillmore of Oxford, Mich., has won the 2011 AMA Pro Vance & Hines XR1200 Championship. Fillmore ended the season on a victorious note, winning the 2011 AMA Pro Road Racing season finale at New Jersey Motorsports Park. The Bruce Rossmeyer/Geico racer finished the season with five wins and eight podium appearances in nine races in the Harley-Davidson XR1200 spec racing series.
