2003 Harley Davidson Gold Key Edition Road King / Street Glide Screaming Eagle 1550 100th Anniversary motorcycle Very nice 100th Anniversary Harley Davidson Road King / Street Glide conversion. This bike has a set of hard bags, and a front fairing with stereo, etc., painted to match the bikes existing 100th anniversary paint scheme. The pictures show the bike with the Street Glide accessories, Corbin Solo Seat, etc., and so on. Also listed in the pictures are the road king seat, 100th anniversary detachable Road King Windshield with pouch, and also the regular Road King saddle bags, to set up and look like the traditional Road King. Bike also has the Screaming Eagle Stage 1 Big Bore Kit up to 1550 cc, with SE203 Cams, etc.. Bike has many, many extras, and I'm sure I'll omit some unintentionally. 2015 Harley-Davidson Freewheeler Revealed
Tue, 26 Aug 2014It’s no surprise, as we’ve already seen the spy photos and California Air Resources Board documents, but Harley-Davidson has officially introduced its new Freewheeler trike, adding a second three-wheeled model to go with the Tri Glide Ultra Classic. Whereas the Tri Glide is designed for touring needs, the Freewheeler is more of a cruiser with 12-inch mini-ape-hanger handlebars and bobtail fenders. Up front is a seven-piece nacelle with a dual halogen lamp mounted tight to the 49mm telescopic fork and frame.
Blues Brothers Too Old for Harley-Davidson 110th Anniversary Celebration?
Fri, 10 May 2013Comedian Dan Aykroyd says he offered to bring his Blues Brothers act to Harley-Davidson‘s 110th Anniversary celebrations but was turned down because H-D executives said the act was too old for the company’s target demographics. Aykroyd, playing the role of Elwood J. Blues with the late John Belushi playing “Joliet” Jake Blues, posted a statement on his official Facebook page suggesting Elwood is trading in his Harley-Davidson motorcycle for a Can-Am Spyder.
Shelved Harley-Davidson Penster Tilting Trike Prototypes Revealed
Thu, 04 Aug 2011The Harley-Davidson Museum has pulled the covers off discarded prototypes of a leaning three-wheeled motorcycle developed by The Motor Company. Harley-Davidson commissioned automobile hot rodding legend John Buttera to build the original prototype (pictured above) in 1998. Codenamed the “Penster”, the Trike looks like it could have been an earlier version of the Can-Am Spyder, but it had a tilting front end similar to the Piaggio MP3.
