You are looking at a 1992 Harley Davidson FXRS-SP with only 12,675 original miles and no that is not a misprint. I purchased this bike from Mikes Famous in New London, CT last year and have all of the documentation to prove it. As soon as I got the bike, I began to take it apart and build it back up the way it sits now. I may have put 50 miles on it since I recently finished it but that is probably a stretch. I have the original tach/ speedo to prove the mileage. I will try to list some parts I have added/ replaced but will probably miss a few things:
- custom paint by Time Warp - new rubber front and rear - new rotors and yes the front is a dual disc - black powder coated wheels - custom sprung Hagon shocks for a 210 pound rider - roland sands diamond stitch 2 up seat - Bassani road rage exhaust - lowbrow customs air cleaner - 6" black risers with dirt bike style handle bars - mx style grips - all handlebar buttons and wiring have been cleaned up/ eliminated - solenoid push button starter - custom black headlight with hi/ lo switch on rear of bucket I am sure I am missing stuff but these are the highlights. The bike is in awesome condition with not a single problem. It has to be one of the cleanest/ low mileage FXR's on the internet right now. 2014 Harley-Davidson Touring Lineup Updated with Project Rushmore Enhancements
Mon, 19 Aug 2013Harley-Davidson announced a number of updates to its touring models, a cumulative result of a product development effort the company dubs Project Rushmore. The enhancements cover several areas, addressing performance, comfort, style and infotainment needs, and will be implemented across eight 2014 Harley-Davidson Touring models: the Road King, Street Glide, Street Glide Special, Electra Glide Ultra Classic, Electra Glide Ultra Limited, the Tri-Glide Ultra Classic trike and the CVO Road King and CVO Limited. “Project RUSHMORE has been touched by thousands of people, most of them being our customers and our employees,” says Scott Habegger, Harley-Davidson Director of Motorcycle Planning.
