Harley-Davidson Other description

two owner 1970 FLH in absolutely incredible condition   the paint is original and it is in VERY VERY nice shape.  bike has tons of accessories, eve whole bike works and it works as good or better than it did when it came of the showroom floor  the bike has 35k miles on it, a few thousand ago the engine was due for a top end  instead the owner had the entire driveline rebuilt and used all harley factory parts  It didn't need a new crank but a brand new NOS crank was balanced and installed, new valves and pistons, everything was rebuilt back to factory specifications  The mechanic is a guy who is a 30 year retired helicopter mechanic who owns a motor shop  this bike runs INSANELY smooth, engine is bone dry.  at any rpm its smooth as silk!! every single light works, both the hella horns work, no dents, no big scratches or issues what so ever.  one spot under the seat on the rear fender has a small repair but the fender was not repainted.  Tires are almost new, brakes work as good as any drum brakes possibly can.  This bike is an absolute cream puff   only a few small things have been changed, external throttle cable, bag tops were painted black (which looks great) and the mufflers were changed   this bike has to be seen AND ridden to be fully appreciated   You'll see 10 generator shovels for every one 70 you see  These are scarce in any condition never mind this incredible original condition   Brand new battery and fully service, get on and GO   i would not hesitate to ride this bike anywhere.  who ever purchases this one will be writing me an email after the get it telling me how nice it rides and how happy they are with their purchase     bike has clear current paper work

AMA Pro Racing Announces Basic Twins Flat Track Class for 2014 Season

Fri, 12 Apr 2013

AMA Pro Racing announced a new class for Flat Track racing designed to provide a new stepping stone for up-and-coming Pro-licensed racers, replacing the Pro Singles class in 2014. The new class, to be called Basic Twins, is more or less a revival of the Basic Expert Twins division that ran during the 2007 and 2008 seasons, but dropped when the Pro Singles class was introduced for 2009. The new class will give young racers a chance to showcase their skills on Twins, easing their transition to eventually enter the Grand National Expert Twins class.

Terminator 2 Harley-Davidson Is Coming Home

Tue, 04 Feb 2014

If you thought Arnold Schwarzenegger’s greatest role was in Terminator, then you should make your way to Milwaukee: The Harley-Davidson Museum has acquired one of the few surviving 1990 Harley-Davidson FatBoy motorcycles used in the filming of Terminator 2: Judgement Day. At the time of filming, the FatBoy was one of Harley-Davidson’s newest models, and the one now in the Museum’s permanent collection was ridden by Arnold Schwarzenegger in the 1991 action classic. “Terminator 2 is an iconic film and a celebrated piece of pop culture history,” said Jim Fricke, Curatorial director of the Harley-Davidson Museum.
