1968 Atomic Custom chopper! This bike was built for the Motorcycles as Art display at the Buffalo Chip in Sturgis, SD. It will also be featured in an upcoming issue of Easyriders magazine. This bike has only been ridden 2 times for shakedown/test and tune. It is currently on display at the Holter Museum of art in Helena, Montana.
Specs: *OEM motor with 84" internals, the best of everything. Built by Randall Nelson. Morris magneto, S&S E carb, Cycle Electric generator. Engraved rocker boxes, aircleaner cover, and cam cover. * Rivera/Primo belt drive with pro clutch tucked inside a Phares Cycle Parts cast aluminum primary (also engraved). *OEM ratchet top 4 speed trans also completely rebuilt by Randall Nelson. Engraved kicker cover * Phares Cycle Parts 2 over narrow I beam springer mated to a stock spec straight leg frame. * High shoulder aluminum wheels. 21" spool up front and 16" star hub out back. * Custom king and queen seat. Ohio Man to be Buried on 1967 Harley-Davidson Electra Glide
Fri, 31 Jan 2014Billie Leo Standley died last weekend from lung cancer, but before he died, the 82-year-old wished for the world to know he was going to ride off to heaven. To accomplish this wish, Standley and his family made arrangements for him to buried in a Plexiglas casket riding his 1967 Harley-Davidson Electra Glide. Harley Skateboard Trick – Awesome Motorcycle Jump
Tue, 28 Apr 2009Everything needs to be jumped over with a skateboard at some point in human history. People, benches, cars, cats, senior citizens, conclusions, ships, …. I’m getting a little metaphorical here… Why not motorcycles? Let’s jump some motorcycles on a skateboard and let’s make them Harley-Davidson motorcycles to boot. Harley is on fire with releasing “viral video” to promote their Dark Custom line and have now released this interesting video of a “modded” skateboard with fireworks strapped to it flying over some bikes. Personally, I think it looks like the guy is hanging from a wire when he crosses over those bikes.
Dodge City 300 Looking To Celebrate Centennial Anniversary In 2014
Tue, 28 May 2013In 1914 the city of Dodge City, Kansas held a motorcycle race, the Dodge City 300, attracting over 17,000 spectators. By 1921 there were more than 20,000. The race was held on a two-mile dirt oval and was sanctioned by the FAM (Federation of American Motorcyclists).
