Hello and Thanks for Looking at my Auction.

Up For Bid is a 1961 Harley Panhead stuffed into An Original VL Frame.  The Frame Work is flawless and this job is not easily accomplished since the panhead is alot taller and the VL frame is obviously meant for a shorter flathead.  Engine Runs Excellent and is extemely reliable.  4 speed transmission has a leak at the kicker seal but shifts with no problems.  Wassel tank// British Ribbed rear fender//21 front and 19 Rear/ Love this Bike but has to go due to another project I want to finish.

The bike was recently switched to hand / foot clutch instead of the suicide shift
Original Harley Vl Frame /// Original Panhead Engine // Original Front Springer// Unity Front Headlight // I am told That the seat is An XA Seat from the War Era but I am not a harley expert so please verify if you know someone with more knowledge than me

Panhead motor has A Mechanical Advance Dizzy and was rebuilt as well and timing set and Tuneup Recently by Vintage Harley Mechanic  In socal.....Bedix Carb has been Rebuilt

Harley-Davidson World Ride Tops 10 Million Miles; Eclipses 2012 Total by 28 Percent

Mon, 01 Jul 2013

Motorcycle riders from around the world enthusiastically joined members of the Harley Owners Group (HOG) on June 23 and 24 to shatter last year’s record mileage total for the Harley-Davidson World Ride by collectively logging more than 10 million miles, a 28 percent increase over the 2012 total. Launched in 2008 as HOG’s Million Mile Monday, the annual event was expanded into the two-day Harley-Davidson World Ride in 2012 to give more riders worldwide an opportunity to participate. In 2012, participants logged 7,799,140 miles, but this year as riders celebrated the 110th Anniversary of Harley-Davidson Motor Company and the 30th Anniversary of HOG that culminates this Labor Day weekend in Milwaukee, they blitzed that record by more than 25 percent, tallying an official total of 10,018,231 miles.

New Harley-Davidson Sportster for India to Use 500cc V-Twin

Thu, 03 Jan 2013

When Harley-Davidson first entered the Indian market, The Motor Company decided to import existing models as complete knockdown kits for final assembly in the burgeoning market. Considering the average motorcycle in India has a displacement smaller than 200cc, it was inevitable Harley-Davidson would eventually have to produce a small-displacement model rather than rely on its existing product line which currently lists the 883cc sportsters as its smallest bikes. Despite a denial last May by Harley-Davidson India’s Managing Director Anoop Prakash, it now appears Harley-Davidson is set to announce a new small-displacement model to be produced in India at the 2014 Indian Auto Expo next February.
