Harley-Davidson FXR description

1988 Harley Davidson FXRS with ~20k miles (19,9xx). I planned on converting this to a FXRT/P, but have lost interest in the project because I'm more interested in sport bikes now. Mechanically the bike is sound with no issues aside from a front brake that squeaks occasionally. Cosmetically, the bike needs a few things as you can see from the pictures. The paint is in decent condition with a few blemishes near the rear struts (looks to be glue/residue) and a few scratches here and there due to normal riding. Obviously the fairing needs to be painted, you'll also need a headlight cover and a windshield if you want to run one.

Bike has an OEM FXRP fairing in good shape (missing blinker bulbs/sockets - i'm trying to find a pair to include)
Moons MC LED Headlight
Hogkillers Tuck and Roll seat
Includes all the major parts for a dual disc conversion (mag wheel, 11/16 master cylinder, brake, fork lower, dual disc brake line)

Overall a good project that you can ride as you finish the cosmetics how you'd like.

Harden (pictured above from our recent Zero FX dirt riding review) and Zero were awarded the AMA Bessie Stringfield Award which recognizes individuals who have been instrumental in bringing emerging markets to motorcycling. The award is named after 2002 AMA Hall of Fame inductee Bessie Stringfield, the first African-American woman to ride solo across the United States and a civilian motorcycle dispatch rider for the army in World War II.
