For sale is my 2002 Low Rider with 5,000 miles. Mileage will go up some as I am currently riding it. I am the second owner. Has had a lot of chrome, forward controls and Vance Hines pipes installed at the factory. At 4800 miles I installed brand new Dunlops front and rear. I installed a new Harley-Davidson battery two weeks ago. Includes quick attach HD windshield, HD hard/soft saddle bags, HD battery tender and a motorcycle cover. Runs and operates perfect. Nearly thirty thousand dollars ($29,799) is the minimum price for a Harley-Davidson LiveWire.
US Highland Making a Comeback
Thu, 13 Oct 2011US Highland appears to be making a comeback, announcing plans to begin processing new orders and having discussions with several OEMs for the use of the Oklahoma company’s powertrains. The Tulsa-based company did not mention which OEMs it is working with, though US Highland says the discussions could result in sales of over 20,000 units per year. The company is developing fuel injected V-Twin engines in 750cc, 950cc and 1050cc displacements and Singles in 350cc, 450cc and 507cc displacements.
Harley-Davidson Offers “Steel Toe Tour” of York Factory
Thu, 23 Feb 2012Harley-Davidson is adding a new factory tour program offering visitors a personal look at the company’s York production facility. For years, the M has been offering free factory tours of its operations in York, Pa., Kansas City, Mo., Tomahawk, Wis., and Menomonee Falls, Wis., facilities. In 2009, Harley-Davidson introduced a premium tour that takes guests into “employee-only” areas called the “Steel Toe Tour” at its Menomonee Falls location.
