Harley-Davidson Custom description

This Limited Edition bike is #29 of 60; NASCAR Commemorative custom-built in 2009 (by Thunder Mt. Cycles), this bike has many amenities; among them is a Fuel-injected 110 cubic inch Harley-Davidson "Screamin' Eagle" Engine and a Harley-Davidson Soft Tail frame. The front Springer fork is custom manufactured and is hydraulic as well.

Limited to 60 units, these bikes were the idea of Bruce Rossmeyer of Daytona, Florida. Here is a portion of the press release from 2008:

Daytona Beach, FL (May 27, 2008) - Bruce Rossmeyer, CEO of 15 Harley-Davidson locations - including the World's Largest Harley-Davidson dealership located at Bruce Rossmeyer's Destination Daytona, has teamed up with NASCAR to create the all new, one of a kind officially licensed "NASCAR 60th Anniversary Motorcycle Series brought to you by Destination Daytona."
To commemorate NASCAR's 60th anniversary, Bruce Rossmeyer, in conjunction with NASCAR, is creating 60 custom built motorcycles, each individually serialized #1 through #60. Each motorcycle in the officially licensed NASCAR 60th Anniversary Motorcycle Series brought to you by Destination Daytona will capture the true essence of NASCAR - a sport that combines design, technology and speed. Each motorcycle will be sold for $48,600.

Each motorcycle in the series will be created by Thunder Mountain Custom Cycles and distributed by Bruce Rossmeyer's Daytona Harley-Davidson.

The officially licensed NASCAR 60th Anniversary Motorcycle Series brought to you by Destination Daytona was unveiled the week leading up to the Sprint All-Star Race in Charlotte, North Carolina on May 17th, 2008.

I have the original handle bars that came with the bike and the unique painting created by renowned NASCAR artist Sam Bass.

These riders and fans added extra horsepower to that promise by raising more than $1 million for organizations that support and empower women affected by breast cancer through the purchase of Harley-Davidson Genuine MotorClothes Pink Label Collection apparel and merchandise. “The brave and courageous women who have shared with us stories of battling breast cancer are the inspiration for the Pink Label Collection,” said Karen Davidson (right), Creative Director of General Merchandise and granddaughter of a Harley-Davidson Motor Company founder.
