GOOD+.. overall condition, Good running condition. Stored in a
Garage...Original tires(no Checking),original seat, new grips,
aftermarket rear view mirrors,all other parts original.Missing one
reflector on front forks (Have two new ones not applied). rubber damper in left rear shock disintegrated of no consequence., Dent on right
rear of fuel tank, Fuel tank has been de rusted and treated,all
electronics work. Missing steering lock key.Comes with new battery and
manual and a few parts.
Bought in 1984 from high school friend with 350 miles on it.Road it in the 80's for about 18 months, two and from work. Again ten years later for a few months on trails. (The Low 2100 Miles) Otherwise it has been in my garage all its life with start and runs a couple of times a year for lubrication circulation.. Does show signs of age, ie, scratches, paint ware, some oily spots some bumps and bruises. but its all here with title, manuals, extra parts and new battery, They use to laugh at me at the Harley shop back in the day... now they want to buy it from me? Harley-Davidson World Ride Tops 10 Million Miles; Eclipses 2012 Total by 28 Percent
Mon, 01 Jul 2013Motorcycle riders from around the world enthusiastically joined members of the Harley Owners Group (HOG) on June 23 and 24 to shatter last year’s record mileage total for the Harley-Davidson World Ride by collectively logging more than 10 million miles, a 28 percent increase over the 2012 total. Launched in 2008 as HOG’s Million Mile Monday, the annual event was expanded into the two-day Harley-Davidson World Ride in 2012 to give more riders worldwide an opportunity to participate. In 2012, participants logged 7,799,140 miles, but this year as riders celebrated the 110th Anniversary of Harley-Davidson Motor Company and the 30th Anniversary of HOG that culminates this Labor Day weekend in Milwaukee, they blitzed that record by more than 25 percent, tallying an official total of 10,018,231 miles.

Designed to match the retro colors on Harley-Davidson’s Hard Candy Custom collection, the vinyl seats have metal flake in six available colors available on Mustang’s Tripper Solo, Tripper Fastback and DayTripper seats. According to Mustang, after the starting its custom seat program last fall, so many customers requested a metal flake option that they had to provide it.
