A unique bike that's been greatly enhanced and upgraded over the already outstanding stock 1098 Streetfighter S. One owner since new, this bike is in absolutely pristine condition. Never tracked. All modifications made with the idea of creating the ultimate Streetfighter without degrading the looks or the comfort of the original. In fact, all the improvements noted below have made the bike quicker, better handling, more comfortable and a real treat for the eyes.

All mods and regular service performed by European Cycle Service (ECS).

The bike just had complete service including belts, valves, oil change, etc..Michelin tires (2CTplus) have less than 300 miles on them.

A big thanks to all at Newcastle Motorcycles for lending me a Honda CB1000F on Saturday to do nothing other than join mates for a blast round some fantastic roads in the North East. The buddies in question were Alan Smith (Bradley’s dad) and two stroke addict and race fan Chris Berriman. We headed east over the moors from the ‘Toon’ heading towards Barnard Castle then back through Consett before finishing up at the picturesque Tynemouth.

Ducati loves having a reason to celebrate, and as the very first Monster 1200 rolled off the production line Monday, yet another reason to party presented itself. Following Ducati tradition, the start of production (SOP) for the Monster 1200, as well as of every new Ducati model, is met with a small ceremony. Here’s how it went down: in front of the entire factory, Ducati CEO Claudio Domenicali and Production Director Silvano Fini started the new bike.

Casey Stoner to Retire After 2012 MotoGP Season

Two-time MotoGP World Champion Casey Stoner has announced he will retire following the end of the 2012 season. Rumors of Stoner’s impending retirement plans have been floating around for weeks with the 26-year-old Repsol Honda racer saying he will continue racing until he no longer enjoyed it. That seems to be the case now as the 2007 and 2011 MotoGP Champion announced he will retire at a press conference ahead of this weekend’s French Grand Prix at Le Mans.
