Powered by an 1198cc L-Twin engine with a 6 speed transmission, the 1198s puts out 170hp at 9750 rpm and 97 foot pounds of torque at 8000 rpm. It has a seat height of 32.2" and a dry weight of 377lbs. Has ONLY 262
miles (two hundred sixty two). Spent most of its life in storage, started every

Rossi 'training' at his MotoRanch
Mon, 30 Jan 2012Like Kenny Roberts, Valentino Rossi has got his own ranch where he has built his own private motocross track and dirt oval. The above YouTube video shows Rossi training on the flat-track circuit that makes up his 'MotoRanch' located near his home town of Tavullia. He's shown riding a Yamaha, but that's probably because Ducati don't have themselves a scrambler.

Thu, 08 Apr 2010I spotted this on my tinterweb travels. It's allegedly the demonstrator bike from a Ducati dealers on the isle of Jersey, in the English channel. The only information to hand is that the bike spat the rider off and the bike hit a tree - the only one for miles - and burst into flames.
