Ducati Sport Touring description

This is a two owner bike that was purchased by me with 3,000 miles in 2009 and the bike now has approximately 16,200 miles. This bike is in immaculate condition and is ready to go - Color is Black with Grey wheels. This bike rides great and sounds awesome -- the fuel injection  was remapped and dyno tuned by Boulder Motorsports and is spot on! Michelin Pilot 3 tires have about 3500 miles on them and look about 1/3 worn.
Accessories/Modifications include;
Ducati Hard Luggage
GPR Carbon slip-ons with ECU re-flash and dyno tune by Boulder Motorsports
Front forks reworked with Penske Internals by Cogent Dynamics
Heated grips with Hi-Lo switch
Helibars bar risers
Throttlemeister Stainless Steel bar end weights and throttle lock
Kuryakyn voltage gauge
Stebel Nautilus Compact Dual-Tone Motorcycle Air Horn (hidden under fairing)
The Hornet deer avoidance system (hidden under fairing)
Dark Smoke Windscreen -- Zero Gravity, stock shape/form
Fuse box under seat wired for all accessories that were added
Clear turn signal lenses in the rear
Includes all stock parts that were removed

This a a great bike and I keep it very clean and take care of it. You would be hard pressed to find a cleaner one out there. I just cant find the time for longer trips so decided to get a larger Dualsport instead for local backroads exploring. Thanks for looking!

What's Bayliss up to these days?

Thu, 13 Aug 2009

Troy Bayliss might not be in the limelight these days, but the ex-World Superbike champ has been busy down under testing Aussie V8s for the Jack Daniel's Racing Holden team. Bayliss has made it quite clear that he wants to race V8s as the next stage of his racing career. He allegedly turned down a multi-million dollar contract from Ducati when he decided to quit WSB.

During the Pikes Peak Hill Climb Race, two tourenduros will be on the lookout. Pikes Peak International Hill Climb is 156 turns, 12.42 miles (about 20 kilometers) long and an elevation difference of 1439m between the start and finish points. The difficult route requires special doctors' transport, so during the upcoming 95th race, two Ducati Multistrada 950 touring enduros in the appropriate color scheme and with flashing beacons will be on guard for the health of the pilots.

Stoner Tops Day One of Sepang Test – Video

Tue, 28 Feb 2012

It’s been about a month since Casey Stoner last tested the Honda RC213V racebike at Malaysia’s Sepang circuit but the defending World Champion remains the man to beat, setting the fastest lap at the first day of MotoGP’s February Sepang test. Heavy rain limited teams’ testing and Stoner only completed 16 laps but still managed to set a time of 2:01.761. Stoner was the only rider to lap under 2:02, though his Repsol Honda teammate Dani Pedrosa came close with a time of 2:02.005 while completing 36 laps.
