You are looking at 2012 Ducati Monster 696. Purchased by my wife new and road less than 1,000 miles since. A few things I need to point out. A) Bike has a Ducati lower seat, original goes with the bike also. B) LED lights (with remote) were added last year. C) Right after she purchase the bike it did fall over in our driveway. Mirror and clutch peddle were damaged; both were replaced with new by Ducati of Indianapolis, IN. Last year the battery was replaced by the dealer and sense then the bike has been on a battery tender and covered in my garage. Runs great. Also include in this auction is a men's larg grey Scorpion full face helmet and a women's small white full face helmet. Both come with helmet bag as well. Prince William The Duke Of Ducs And Other Motorcycles
Mon, 02 Dec 2013The Duke of Cambridge, Prince William, visited Britain’s largest motorcycle show, Motorcycle Live, at the National Exhibition Center in Birmingham. The visit saw the Duke astride numerous motorcycle models including UK icons Norton and Triumph as well as a Ducati 1199 Superleggera (one of the few men able to afford the $70,000 rarity). During his visit Prince William enjoyed a display of off-road riding – one of nine opportunities for visitors to ride at Motorcycle Live, eight of which are inside the halls of the NEC. He also met Dean Linehan, exhibitions director of MCI Exhibitions, the company that organizes the annual motorcycle exhibition.
Tough battles at Brands in the 848 Challenge
Mon, 08 Aug 2011The unique prospect of racing on both the Indy and GP circuits at Brands Hatch meant that Round 5 of the Rapid Solicitors Ducati 848 Challenge was very much a tale of two halves. Having already raced the Indy circuit earlier in the season, the first part of the weekend was going to be reminiscent of previous rounds, while the switch to the GP circuit would favour those few who had previous race experience on the longer track. A full schedule on the opening day of the round saw Mike Edwards (MSKWorks.com) top the qualifying table to claim his first pole position of the season with a storming 48.86 sec lap, despite a low-side reminder of how slippery Druids can be in early morning free practice.
Federico Sandi Loses Ducati 1199 Panigale Superstock 1000 Ride – Again
Thu, 03 May 2012For the second time this season, Superstock 1000 Cup racer Federico Sandi has lost his ride on a new Ducati 1199 Panigale race bike. Sandi was cut loose from Liberty Racing in March after the team decided to focus its resources on a four-rider World Superbike effort. The 22-year-old racer then landed with Althea Racing, the team that captured the 2011 Superstock 1000 Cup as well as the 2011 WSBK Championship with Carlos Checa.
