Ducati Monster tech info
Ducati Monster description
I bought this bike used and it had about 4100 miles on it. It now has 7739 miles on it. It has the 998 testastretta engine which has a ridiculous amount of torque. It was stock when I bought it with the exception of a cut air box and the carbon termi exhaust. The check engine light has been on since I bought it and does not impact performance. I was told when the air box was cut by the owner they probably removed the O2 sensor. I have had it serviced by a Ducati dealership every year. This year it's due for the 7500 mile service. This model had expanding gas tank issues which I had the Ducati dealership address. There are some small chips in the paint which were there when I purchased the bike. I have put some custom parts on it which include: Oberon mirrors and barend directionals. One mirror has a chip in it and one directional is scuffed. Rizoma handgrips CRG shorty levers Puig front cowl Integrated LED taillight black chain with red master link Speedy moto frame sliders Black rizoma handlebar Ducati open clutch cover carbon Black rizoma front foot pegs Wheel hugger rear fender. Supersprox rear sprocket (less than 500 miles) Speigler clutch line Ducati tank protector This is the last time I am listing this before putting it in storage. Every winter it has been stored at the Ducati dealership and received a spring service. In the summer it has been garaged. There are brand new Michelin pilot tires on it with less than 500 miles on them. I am selling this because I bought a dog and bring him with me everywhere and have been using the bike less and less and it is not practical for me as a daily commuter. Buyer is responsible for all shipping arrangements. I still owe a small amount on the loan I used to finance the bike, so it may take a week or so to get the title. I have a black key and a red key. Please email with any questions or if you would like more photos. (Despite what the listing states, I am not shipping to the UK, Australia or Canada. I can't seem to change this in the listing settings) Thanks! |

Audi Announces Ducati Q3 2013 Sales Results
Thu, 07 Nov 2013Ducati delivered 36,662 motorcycles worldwide over the first nine months of 2013, according to the third quarter financial report from parent company Audi. An exact year-over-year comparison is not available however, as Audi only took control of Ducati on July 19, 2012, but Audi admits demand had declined mainly due to a weak economy in key European markets such as France, Spain and Ducati’s home market, Italy. We can provide a rough year-over-year comparison for the third quarter ended Sept.

Tue, 04 Jun 2013Lightning Motorcycles, has announced today that it has just signed Carlin Dunne to compete at this year’s Pike’s Peak International Hill Climb in June. Dunne is the current lap record holder on a motorcycle, and the two-time and defending class champion. This marks a historic moment, as Dunne will switch from the gas-powered Ducati Multistrada he rode to his past victories to the all-electric Lightning superbike.
2009 Toyota Tundra Ducati Transporter
Tue, 11 Nov 2008Motorcycling can be an expensive proposition. Those who take up the hobby to save money on gas find themselves spending a fortune on riding courses, gear and vanity signs that hang in their garage saying “Motorcycle Parking Only.” Others who get serious about the sport of motorcycle racing find themselves spending an arm and a leg on tires, replacement parts and silicon implants for the girls who hold their umbrellas for them in between heats. Yet another costly investment can be transporting your bike(s) to and from the track.
