Ducati 1000 SportClassic Sport S description

2008 Ducati 1000 SportClassic Sport S with only 311 miles on it. Always stored and covered in heated garage, never wet, never dropped, no scratches, never raced, and never abused. Perfect like new condition, purchased as an investment / rolling piece of art, which it is.

The tank was replaced many years ago because of the gas issues. I only use ethanol-free gas when I run the bike.

Upgrades / spares include:

Ducti fairing lowers (yes the short lowers to main fairing come with the bike).
Recently installed Termignoni mufflers but have not flashed the ECU.
Spare Ducati wind screen slightly taller than the base screen.
Lithium battery with charger.

Will provide additional photos of the Termignoni mufflers exhaust and the mileage counter shortly.

Good luck with your bids.

2013 Ducati Multistrada 1200 Specs Released

Thu, 20 Sep 2012

When Ducati announced the updates for the 2013 Multistrada 1200 lineup this week, it was very vague on the details. We know the engine received some updates and the Ohlins suspension had been replaced with a new semi-active “Skyhook” suspension system, and of course, we learned about the new Multistrada 1200S Granturismo variant. It took a couple of days but Ducati has released full specifications for its Multistrada 1200 lineup, shedding some more light on the 2013 models.

Ducati Desmosedici GP13 an Evolution, Not a Revolution

Wed, 16 Jan 2013

Bernhard Gobmeier sounded cautiously optimistic about Ducati‘s MotoGP program, speaking at the Wrooom 2013 event following the unveiling of the Desmsedici GP13 racebike. Taking over as general manager of Ducati Corse, Gobmeier acknowledged his team had a lot of ground to make up if it hopes to pose a serious threat to Honda and Yamaha. Ducati got an early start on developing its 2013 program halfway through the 2012 season when it became apparent the Desmosedici GP12 was not competitive enough against the RC213V and the M1.
