This incredible tribute bike to Jack Daniels has won many first place awards at Sturgis and Daytona, the International Master Bike Builders Assn., Dayona Boardwalk Show, People's Choice at Sturgis, AMD show in Cleveland, Easyriders Bike Show in Knoxville & Colombus among others. It placed 10th at the International AMD Worlds Show held in Germany. It was featured in Easyriders "In The Wind" September 2012 magazine with an 8 page spread. It has many unique features that grabs your attention! It is powered by a 77 Harley Ironhead motor, 1000cc's, whiskey barrel battery cover with hidden flask & tapper, suicide shifter with magnetized shot glass (to grab a shot out of the battery cover's tapper!), hand hammered copper still oil tank, OLD No 7 is engraved all over on this bike, shot glass tail light, the seat is a wooden bar stool with leather pad, headlight a 106 year old carbide light from England converted to a halogen bulb, paint job that features a portrait of Jack Daniels and gold leafing, all controls are hidden. The infamous “American Chopper” TV juggernaut rolls on, with a two-hour special to be broadcast tonight and culminating with a live event on Tuesday evening in Las Vegas. The interesting thing about this week’s shows is that I’m in Vegas as a guest critic of the builds, a three-team competition between Paul Teutul Senior, Paul Junior and the notorious Jesse James. Earlier today I got a chance to see the vehicles for the first time, and what a trio it is!

Sturgis Motorcycle Hall of Fame Announces 2013 Induction Class

The Sturgis Motorcycle Museum & Hall of Fame announced it will induct five new members for 2013. The Hall also announced it will add one new member to its Freedom Fighters Hall of Fame. For 2013, the Hall will welcome to its ranks motorcycle attorney Russ Brown, custom chopper builder Rick Fairless (pictured above), Harley-Davidson dealer Bill Gikling, actor Marjoe Gortner of the television special “Sturgis: The Great Ride”, and antique motorcycle expert Lonnie Isam, Sr.

Last year, the “American Chopper” TV franchise was reinvigorated by a special live show that brought in nearly 5 million total viewers and was the most-watched show among men of the entire TV schedule’s night. Called “American Chopper Live – The Build-Off,” the show pitted the Orange County Chopper crew against Paul Jr. Designs and the irascible malcontent Jesse James.
