Chopper Chopper description

Unfortunately my riding season is over with shoulder surgery so I have listed my beautiful big bear sled 300.

Built by Big Bear in July 2011 with a 124 S&S motor open primary to an air clutch to a 6 speed baker transmission.

As far as I'm concerned BB builds the most beautiful bikes that are setup to ride.

Deep black paint and bright chrome add to the lines on this bike.

I have attached a lot of pictures so please enjoy. Bike is like new and has only run just over a 1000 miles.

Starts up easily with the electronic decompression system and sounds amazing.

Everything works and I have a clean title in hand.

The Nine-Cylinder Motorcycle

Fri, 17 May 2013

Most would think a radial airplane engine is best left for airplanes. Frank Ohle is not one of those people. This mad fabricator from Germany found himself in possession of a Rotec Radial R3600 airplane engine and decided the best place for it was not in the sky, but in fact on the ground, in a motorcycle.

Lawn-Mowing Motorcycle

Mon, 20 Apr 2009

I can’t count how many sunny Saturdays in my adult life I have spent lamenting the fact that yard work took precedent over being able to spend the entire day out riding my motorcycle.  Well, instead of wasting time dreaming, a farmer and motorcycle enthusiast managed to find a way to fix this problem by converting an old worn out ride on lawnmower into a chopper that actually, chops. Powered by a 17.5 HP Briggs and Stratton motor, the bike was constructed with the help of an old bed frame, an aluminum running board and parts from two old bikes. Now instead of choosing between going riding or doing yard work, this ingenious inventor can do both!

Resident Evil Inspired Chopper

Mon, 07 Dec 2009

Capcom, the creator of the popular video game series “Resident Evil”, has teamed up with Savage Cycles out of Maryland, to create this zombie killer custom chopper.  The project is scheduled to be completed in January, the limited bikes to be built has no price tag at this point but I am sure it will be steep. Check out some preview shots and a list of some interesting features. From the Capcom blog: The bike is low-slung and mean, armored but fast, with quick access to a number of “weapons” and items, such as an airsoft shotgun and pistol, “health sprays” and a combat knife strapped to the front fork.
