Can-Am rs se-5 description

This is a beautiful 2010 CanAm Roadster Spyder RS-S SE5. It was the special edition for 2010 and in addition to the pearl white color and semi-automatic transmission, it came with special wheels, a "special edition seat" and a rolling travel bag for the frunk. All of this is included in the sale, of course.

I don't think you'll find a Spyder in better condition, with as many factory options as this one. Low mileage and with plenty of summer left, you can still put the miles under your belt. This is the ultimate tanning machine and is a blast to ride!

This Can-Am has been tastefully and professionally modified with the following options, and probably even more that I have not listed:

o BRP Givi lockable hard saddle bags with running light kit that can be adjusted with the Custom Dynamics Smart Triple Play unit. Color matched panels.

o Corbin leather modular saddle system. Also lockable. No funky spider web stitching - this has the classic stitch pattern

o Two Brothers Black Series exhaust with Two Brothers removable silencer baffle

o Two Brothers Juice Box Pro with programming CD

o Cruise control

o BRP Frunk Liner

o Frunk lid organizer

o Baja Ron front sway bar

o TWO lighter plugs in the frunk for all your gadgets and chargers.

o BRP factory fog lights

o BRP Sport rack

o KewlMetal Air filter performance kit

o Not one, but TWO Fuzeblock FZ-1 fuse blocks. One in front and one in back.

o New battery installed in February

o Garmin Zumo wiring and mount already installed (head unit not included)

o Custom side rear license plate mount with LED lights

o DZUS quarter turn fastener clips make getting panels off for maintenance an easy process.

Can-Am Spyder Hybrid Roadster Development Update [Video]

Tue, 13 Dec 2011

It’s been about a year since Bombardier Recreational Products announced it was developing a hybrid version of the Can-Am Spyder Roadster. Developed in partnership with the Advanced Technology Center at Sherbrooke University in Quebec and with funding from the Government of Canada, the hybrid Spyder is an ambitious project for BRP. We met up with Scott MacWilliam from BRP at the Toronto Motorcycle Show to take a look at a working prototype of the Can-Am’s hybrid three-wheeler.

Will The Bombardier Trailtrike Make Trikes Cool?

Thu, 11 Jul 2013

Charles Bombardier, creator of the highly controversial Can-Am Spyder and grandson of the man who invented the snowmobile, thinks he has an idea to make trikes cool. It’s a tall order, considering most motorcycling circles banish three-wheelers as some kind of second class device, not worthy of mingling with true two wheelers. While Bombardier’s Trailtrike still has two wheels in front and one in back, he tells Popular Science the difference is that the Trailtrike can be ridden both on- and off-road.

2013 Can-Am Spyder RT and ST Models Recalled for Fire Risk

Fri, 30 Aug 2013

Transport Canada announced a recall for all 2013 Can-Am Spyder RT and ST series roadsters because of a risk of a vehicle fire. At the moment, a recall has only been announced for Canada but a representative from Bombardier Recreational Products says agencies in other countries such as the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration are also preparing for a recall.
