Can-Am Spyder RT-S SM5 description

2011 Can-Am Spyder RT-S SM5, 2011 Can-AM Spyder RT-S SM5
The Spyder RT-S roadster adds a healthy dose of high tech features and premium styling elements over the base RT and RT Techno packages for a truly luxurious open air motoring experience including an electronically adjustable rear air suspension.
For the 2011 model year, BRP made several improvements to the RT family. A new front shock and sway bar calibration greatly reduce body roll for confident cornering without sacrificing comfort. Redesigned windshield and wind deflectors keep riders cooler during warm weather.
The Spyder RT-S package may include all the standard Spyder RT Audio & Convenience features, PLUS:
Electronically-adjustable rear air suspension with auto-leveling
Aluminum 6-spoke Smoked Chrome front wheel 14 x 5 in. (355 mm x 127 mm)
Special edition chrome trim
Two additional rear speakers with independent passenger audio controls
Fog lamps and LED running lights
5 LED accent lights
3.5 mm audio player input
Front cargo light
Front cargo liner
SM5 5-speed manual transmission with reverse

It’s been about a year since Bombardier Recreational Products announced it was developing a hybrid version of the Can-Am Spyder Roadster. Developed in partnership with the Advanced Technology Center at Sherbrooke University in Quebec and with funding from the Government of Canada, the hybrid Spyder is an ambitious project for BRP. We met up with Scott MacWilliam from BRP at the Toronto Motorcycle Show to take a look at a working prototype of the Can-Am’s hybrid three-wheeler.
