BUELL 1125R These Buell's were only built for the street for 2 years then they were only built for road racing after 2009. It is the 1125R model. Buell used a Rotax Helicon power plant that produces about 140 HP. It is fuel injected with a 6-speed transmission. This bike is perfect for someone who wants a street/track bike. The previous owner took good care of this bike. It does not appear or have any signs of being down or abused. It has a Jardine RT-5 exhaust. The rest of the bike is stock and the rear pegs have been removed by the previous owner. I never received them so this bike will not come with rear pegs. The only flaw I noticed is the dash cover has a few stress cracks. The lens is smooth on the outside so the cracks are inside and it doesn't appear any water can get in. The paint is in great condition with no major flaws. I have checked the bike over and it will come with brand new Dunlop tires and new rear brakes. The fronts have about 50% pad life left. The Jardine exhaust sounds awesome on this 1125. I have taken it on a short reliability run and the motor, transmission and clutch sound and work as they should. Erik Buell Racing Secures $20 Million in Foreign Investments
Fri, 20 Jul 2012Erik Buell Racing has received a $20 million injection from investors. The increased funding is expected to expand the company’s product line and create about 200 jobs. The investment comes through the somewhat fittingly-named “EB-5” program, a product of the Immigrant Act of 1990 designed to encourage investment in American companies by potential immigrants.
Hero MotoCorp Forms Joint Venture with Magneti Marelli
Wed, 04 Dec 2013Indian manufacturer Hero MotoCorp is teaming up with electronic fuel injection expert Magneti Marelli in a new joint venture. Hero will hold a 60% share in the company with Magenti Marelli controlling the other 40%. The two companies are initially investing a combined US$8.5 million into the joint venture, with a planned investment of US$27 million total over the next ten years.
Report: Danny Eslick Signs with Erik Buell Racing
Wed, 11 Jan 2012Two-time AMA Sportbike Champion Danny Eslick has reportedly signed with Erik Buell Racing to ride the EBR 1190RS in the 2012 AMA Superbike Championship. According to RoadRacingWorld, Eslick will join the already-signed Geoff May for a two-rider EBR team. RoadRacingWorld reports EBR has secured additional sponsorship, allowing the team to sign a second rider.
