This Amazing preserved sample of the team Yamaha Loctite UK/Steve Parrish was ridden by the today world famous GP TV commentator Keith Huewen in some 1988 WSBK races as Hungaroring as well as in the British Championship. It has all the right bits as the 1988 race Brembo calipers, Bimota magnesium deep sump, quick release pipes and as all the bikes raced was converted to carburators to avoid fuel injection problems. EBR First American Sportbike To Score Points In WSBK, Makes History
Fri, 18 Jul 2014The EBR 1190RX had its best finish to date in the FIM Superbike World Championship (WSBK) series during the only US round at Laguna Seca in Salinas, Calif., this past weekend. In an exciting twist, the wild card entry of Larry Pegram running the #72 Foremost Insurance/EBR/AMSOIL/Hero entry garnered a 14th place finish in the second race, earning the first-ever WSBK points for an American motorcycle manufacturer. [In actuality, Pegram's EBR crossed the line in 16th place. However, the two Bimota BB3 entries who finished eighth and ninth with riders Ayrton Badovini and Christian Iddon, respectively, have had their finishes nullified all season because Bimota has not met the FIM's homologation requirements.

Mon, 14 Apr 2014Reigning World Superbike Champion Tom Sykes put on a clinic this weekend, leading every lap in both races to claim a pair of wins at Spain’s Motorland Aragon circuit. Sykes’ Kawasaki teammate Loris Baz was right there with him, recording a pair of second-place podiums to give Team Green a pair of one-two finishes. Sykes and Baz were also one-two in the Superpole qualifying on this nearly flawless weekend for the Kawasaki factory team.
Bimota Entering WSBK Championship with Team Alstare
Mon, 13 Jan 2014Bimota is returning to the World Superbike Championship after signing a five-year research and development deal with Team Alstare. The Italian company was one of the original manufacturers in the series’ inaugural 1988 season but Bimota hasn’t competed since the 2000 season. Team Alstare will enter two Bimota BB3 superbikes in the EVO class, playing a leading role in developing the sportbike.
