BSA spitfire description
1958 BSA Spitfire Scrambler. This bike is a barn find and is almost completely original, the engine, frame, and transmission match, and the carburetor is correct. The engine kicks over with good compression, but it will need magneto work to run. The engine is stamped HHC under the serial number which stands for High lift cam, and High Compression pistons. The bike is also equipped with a 9" ventilated front drum, and quick change wheels. The tank is fiberglass and will need to be replaced. Taking Best of Show in this year’s Calendar Bike Building Championship was Calin Senciac’s Imagine Vehicles International / ImagineVehicles.com motorsports fabrication shop with an incredible custom billet aluminum designed chassis built by Terry Ward and the shop crew, housing a legendary 1979 Honda CBX 1047cc air-cooled in-line 6-cylinder engine.

The single-cylinder classic Gold Star will enter the European market - a spiritual successor to the original company's lineup, but with a completely modern filling. The novelty is equipped with a single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine, two overhead camshafts and 4 valves per cylinder, a working volume of 652 cm3.
Bonhams To Auction Bruce Smith Collection Of Original Illustrations
Fri, 11 Oct 2013On October 20, Bonhams will be auctioning off a collection of original illustrations by Bruce Smith from the 1960s and 1970s. Each one will be signed by Smith on heavy cartridge paper. The collection is comprised of cutaway illustrations of a 1963 Royal Enfield Interceptor 750cc, Chris Vincent’s 1964 BSA 650cc A65 Race Outfit, and a 1966 Greeves Racer, the largest of this series being 45cm x 62cm.
