BMW R60/6 Police tech info
BMW R60/6 Police description
I purchased this German BMW Police (Polizei) Motorcycle a few years ago and imported it from Belgium were it came out of a collection. The BMW R60/6 now has a clear South Carolina title. I have purchased several bikes from this seller in Belgium and all have been as described. I am working on another project now and need to move some of my bikes. The bike was serviced last year and was running great. I have not started the bike since then and it needs a new battery. Siren and police lights are complete but have been disconnected when the bike was sold out of police service. I was told that they can be reconnected easily but I have not tried and can not verify this. The bike also has a police radio set-up in the rear luggage box. More pictures will be added soon. |

Victory VS. BMW Police Bike Challenge + Video
Wed, 02 Apr 2014A notice to any potential law breakers out there: Victory is getting in on the police bike business. Using stock Cross Country models modified with only lights and sirens, the Victorys may not be as ill-equipped for chases (at least slow speed, parking lot chases) as you might think. Just check out this video below for proof.

Fri, 02 Aug 2013Ritmo Sereno is a Japanese motorcycle customiser specializeing in BMW and Moto Guzzi custom motorcycles. One of the greatest bikes created by them, shown to the public last year, is this BMW R100RS finished in official Bayerishe Motorwerke livery. The original bike, that was considered in the past like a sort of modern hypersport, received some radical changes that have updated the boxer powered motorcycle. It features new rims, so modern tyres can be used, a new exhaust system (2 into 1), the classic Ohlins fork with dark colour finish and the rear shock is Ohlins too.
BMW S1000RR drag bike
Fri, 05 Apr 2013Whilst stretched out bikes aren't that popular over here in the UK, you can certainly appreciate them a whole lot more more when you know they're going to be used at a drag strip. This video shows bike builder and ex-racer Roland Sands work his magic on a BMW S1000RR. Future plans are to increase the engine to 300bhp, and achieve speeds of 220mph.
