BMW R-Series description

For sale is a 2013 BMW R 1200 GS Adventure Triple Black  Edition with Premium package. The bike has all the factory options with ESA adjustable suspension, ABS, heated grips, and KAKO throttle lock. The bike has BMW panniers and top box with Adventure Designs hidden tool box mounted behind the right pannier. It has the upgraded BMW skid pate. Also have the Adventure Designs engine head crash bars, Black Dog Cycle Works large foot pegs. Power let socket installed on the left side of the cockpit. Hammerhead folding shift lever, TouraTech large kick stand plate , and low seat. I have the factory seat, and continental TKC 80 knobbies with about 50% tread. The street tires are on the bike now which are Michelin Anakee II tires with about 50% tread also.

There are a few scuffs which I tried to get in the pictures. The left hand guard and head crash bar. These scuffs where on the bike when I bought it. The original owner said he took a Rawhyde course at the Overland Expo East and that is where the scuffs came from. The bike is still in excellent condition. The only reason I am selling is that I have too many toys and not enough space. The bike does a have a Lien with the bank.

The landmark liquid-cooled 2014 R1200GS follows a lineage half a million strong of flat-twin adventure tourers tracing back to the first R80G/S produced in 1980. “As a plant it is a privilege for us to continue building on the successful history of the legendary flat-twin GS,” says Marc Sielemann, head of the Berlin plant which produces the bulk of BMW’s motorcycles since 1969.
