Great condition BMW R1150RT.  Includes custom (original dealership painted) saddle bags to match silver body, Givi top box with back pad, Marsee expandable tank bag, heated grips, throttle lock, head protectors.  

Never been down.  Runs perfectly.  Only has small scratch on side mirror and on top box.

Ohlins Issues Recall Notice For BMW S1000RR And R1200R Steering Dampers

Ohlins is issuing a recall notice for select aftermarket steering dampers for the BMW S1000RR and R1200R. The company believes the bracket holding the damper in place to be improperly machined, and a probable material defect in the aluminum alloy could cause stress fractures. Ohlins states that although “there is no risk for losing control during normal riding,” there is a risk the bracket will fail during slow-speed maneuvers, where the bars are turned at maximum steering angle.

Charlotte, N.C., writer and motorcycle adventurer Tamela Rich is heading out on a cross-country ride to raise money for breast cancer causes. Along her tour, Rich will meet with breast cancer survivors and interview them for her upcoming book, “Live Full Throttle: What You Can Learn About Life From Women Who’ve Faced Cancer”. This will be Rich’s second tour across the country.
