BMW R-Series description

I purchased this bike from Michigan from a friend-so it has a clean Michigan title.
The bike was running strong and I will upload a picture of it before it got stripped

The bike is in very solid condition. No damage
The tank looks great with some wear-the inside is clean.

What you see is what you get in the pictures.
The seat is gone-fenders,exhaust and gauge are gone as well.

I bough it specifically to make a cafe racer-and didnt need those parts.
Thats how i got it-i do not have the parts anymore

On Jun-12-16 at 16:40:19 PDT, seller added the following information:

The last procure is of the bike when it was complete- before it got stripped and was sold to me afterwords,

Update- the Michigan title is already filled with my name and info so I will have to transfer on Monday over to me. So the bike will have a Indiana title.  Sorry for the wrong info- I forgot that I wrote my info on the title, I have too many bikes and I simply forgot.

If you want me to cancel someone's bid- please let me know. Otherwise the bike will come with a clean Indiana title in my name.
I reserve the right to end the auction early since the bike is for sale locally as well.

Shipping can be done thru Uship- anywhere in US.

BMW Announces Recall Campaign for K1600 Family Motorcycles

Fri, 25 Feb 2022

The recall concerns all 2019-2020 BMW K1600 models due to the risk of rear suspension link failure caused by a manufacturing defect - the strength of the part does not meet the factory requirements. This linkage may be destroyed during normal road use, causing the rear of the motorcycle to fall onto the rear wheel. BMW dealers this spring will begin notifying owners of motorcycles that are subject of the recall campaign to visit an authorized dealership for a rear suspension linkage replacement.

BMW HP4 Gets New ABS that Works in Corners

Fri, 18 Jul 2014

BMW has developed a new anti-lock braking system designed to work when a motorcycle is leaned over into a corner. The new ABS Pro system will initially be offered as a retrofit upgrade on the BMW HP4 sportbike, but it’s likely only a matter of time before the technology becomes available on other models. The ABS Pro uses the same sensors already employed by BMW’s Dynamic Traction Control and Dynamic Damping Control electronic suspension, both of which are already available on the HP4.
