BMW R-Series description

Fully restored including motor and transmission TRIPLE MATCHING NUMBERS 1962 BMW R69S, restored with all original parts to meet factory specs, motorcycle starts on first kick maybe second if not lucky on first try.

It was restored 2 years ago and it sits on my garage ever since, I ride it around the block just to keep all parts moving and in good working order.

only bad is that installed a passenger Denfeld saddle seat and back fender paint is dull where the seat meets the fender, even after using a rubber pad to protect the paint. passenger seat is included with purchase, other items included are: two keys, tool kit and original speedometer everything original to the bike.

BMW Reports Q2 2012 Results

BMW reported a 8.9% decrease in motorcycle sales revenue over the second quarter of 2012 but still managed a 1.3% increase over the first half. According to German manufacturer’s second quarter report, the BMW and Husqvarna combined for 410 million euros (US$507.7 million) in revenue over the second quarter ended June 30, 2012, a decrease from the 450 million euros reported in the same period last year. Revenues for the first half totaled 858 million euros (US$1.06 billion), a 1.3% year-over-year increase from 847 million euros.

I’d like to ramble on about a dozen different things relating to this video, but the 3- minute, 19-second clip speaks for itself. However, once the engine is revving at high rpm, watching the cams, finger followers and valve springs seemingly freeze in action due to the incredible speeds, I was reminded of that whole “Dude, the faster I went the more everything around me seemed to slow down,” experience we’ve all heard about or experienced. 2014 WSBK Provisional Entry List – 27 Riders and 9 Manufacturers

The International Motorcycling Federation (FIM) released a provisional entry list for the 2014 World Superbike Championship. The provisional list includes 27 riders riding motorcycles from nine different manufacturers. Of these riders, 12 are riding in the new EVO sub-category which limits engine upgrades and electronics to Superstock class rules.
