The BMW C1-E, prepared for the European Safer Urban Motorcycling (eSUM), was designed to represent safe and environmentally friendly vehicles of the future. Like the C1, which was produced 2000-2003, the concept has a number of safety features such as a roll-over bar, energy-absorbing nose to soften head-on collisions and seat belts. Take a 1991 BMW K100, put in a whole load of creativity and 99 hours of effort and you get this: the Works on Bikes EX BMW. Called the EX BMW because the two guys and girl behind this custom from Milan only kept the engine and part of the original frame. It uses wood, steel, laser machining, CNC and probably the odd bash with a hammer.

2013 BMW F800GT Revealed in CARB and EPA Documents

Documents released by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the California Air Resources Board confirm the existence of a new member of BMW‘s F800 lineup, the F800GT. The 2013 BMW F800GT will likely be a more touring-oriented replacement for the F800ST (pictured above) which was conspicuously absent from the CARB document.
