Here we have a gorgeous 2002 BMW K1200LT in above average condition. It was traded this year on a new truck. The pictures tell the story. Very nice condition. Recently serviced and safety inspected by the Beemer Barn in Johnson Creek NY. They are our local BMW experts. We did a new battery as well. The bike has been sitting so the old gas was switched out for new as well. Bike will be sold as is.....New York State Inspected only. New York residents are subject to New York State sales tax. Out of state residents are subject to their own states taxes and or fees.....bot NOT the New York tax. Please ask any and all questions before bidding. Thanks and good luck.

NHTSA Launches Recall Look-up by VIN Tool
Fri, 22 Aug 2014The U.S. Department of Transportation and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration have launched a new free online tool that should make it easier for consumers to inspect their vehicles’ safety recall histories. The new search tool, available at http://www.safercar.gov/vinlookup, allows people to look for recall campaigns by entering Vehicle Identification Numbers.

With 193 crankshaft horsepower and a claimed dry weight of 404 pounds, BMW says the S1000RR has the best power-to-weight ratio of any production bike. And, by the way the S1000 lofts its front wheel onto Portimao’s front straight at 150 mph, we’re becoming believers!

Mon, 23 Apr 2012The Netherlands hosted a dramatic weekend of World Superbike racing that featured a red-flagged wet race, several riders crashing while leading, a first-time race winner, a photo finish between two teammates and the reigning World Champion finishing out of the points because of a poor choice of tires. The 2011 WSBK Champion Carlos Checa arrived at Assen with the lead in the championship and a three-race winning streak, but opting to run wet tires in Race Two cost him the lead and may have contributed to a crash that severely injured Liberty Racing‘s Brett McCormick.
