2005 F650gs dakar Always BMS service maintainced. Until recently took it to sills BMS had services. $900 in maintenance.Very reliable bike. good clutch.just had it checked. new case seals. gas line, plugs, new oil, front brakes, fork seals, hand guard, mirrors, windshield, and new knobby tires. heated hand grips, extra tires, extra seat wt lock compartment, AC double charger, ABS system, BMW bike cover. Runs great. Turn signal plate cracked n side plate cracked, and needs rear foot peg but have rubber. Never had a problem starts everytime instantly. Went all the way to Virginia to buy bike in 2014 one previous owner.

Kymco to Supply BMW with i3 Electric Car Range Extender and New 400cc Scooter Engine

The automotive world has been buzzing of late about BMW‘s upcoming i3 electric car having an optional range extending gas-powered motorcycle engine. As our sister site Autoguide.com reports, the i3 will be available with an optional two-cylinder BMW motorcycle engine to power a generator which can recharge the electric motor and extend the vehicle’s range to 250 miles compared to a range of 60-90 miles relying just on the battery. It turns out that two-cylinder motorcycle engine will actually be provided to BMW by Taiwanese manufacturer Kymco.

BMW Reportedly Discussing Partnership with India’s TVS Motor

BMW is reportedly in talks with TVS Motor to develop new motorcycles for India. A potential BMW-TVS partership would follow similar arrangements between Bajaj Auto and KTM and between Hero MotoCorp and Erik Buell Racing. The Wall Street Journal reports the two companies are discussing a possible technological alliance.
