2008 APRILIA TUONO 1000R FACTORY

Up for auction is a one 2008 Aprilia Tuono 1000R factory model with only 5,983 miles! The bike has never been down and has no signs of damage. The only things worth noting are a boot mark on the one rear fairing, and a small black stain on drivers seat. We recently did a full service and installed new Pirelli Diablo tires. The best piece of 2011 Rossi merchandise so far has to be this Smart car I spotted last week in the Jerez paddock. Maybe Vale himself will have one as it would easily fit into a corner of his humungous new motor home I posted on here a few weeks ago. I was down there with Taylor for the final round of the Spanish Championship (CEV) and just like BSB there was a great end of season atmosphere in the paddock.

Tom Sykes and Eugene Laverty each came away with a victory as the World Superbike Championship made its return to Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca. The first race featured two red flags, ironically caused by AMA Superbike regulars Danny Eslick and Roger Hayden, the two men with the most recent experience at the famed track. The second race was a much cleaner affair, with a dramatic finish, setting up the final two rounds of the championship.
